Officers were called to an address in Crow Hill Rise, Mansfield, shortly after 4.15am this morning after activity was spotted in a detached garage.
Items including a bicycle, laptop computer and sunglasses were reported stolen from a house, two garages and several parked cars.
Immediate house-to-house enquiries were undertaken, and the suspects were soon detained at a nearby flat.
Two men, aged 53 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of three counts of burglary. A 42-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
They remain in police custody.
Detective Sergeant Georgina Gallagher of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a really good job by response officers who immediately attended the scene and began investigating what had happened.
“Within a very short space of time they had secured the area, located an address of interest, and detained three suspects. Investigations are ongoing as we work to recover all the items taken.”
